9:30 a.m. Worship Service

Please check our calendar to confirm worship time as it is subject to change. Worship at Rockville embraces our tradition as Presbyterians which focuses on the liturgy from The Book of Common Worship. Liturgy is a technical term for “an order of worship components.”

The traditional order of worship encompasses a call to worship, opening prayer, prayer of confession, hymns, scripture readings from the Old and New Testaments, choral music, a sermon, an affirmation of faith, the sacraments (baptism and the Lord’s Supper), and benediction.  Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of each month, and all are welcome to participate. All are encouraged to join us on the patio for fellowship and refreshments following the service.

Children are always welcome and are encouraged to participate in a short children's message before they leave for Sunday school.

For those with hearing aids, we’re in the Loop!

A Hearing Loop has been installed in Keck Hall. A hearing loop (sometimes called an audio induction loop) is a special type of sound system for use by people with hearing aids. The hearing loop provides a magnetic, wireless signal that is picked up by the hearing aid when it is set to "T" (Telecoil) setting. This will boost and give added hearing assistance to all our parishioners who wear hearing aids.
